CSU Executive Order 1095 is implementation of Title IX, VAWA/Campus SaVE Act, and Related Sex Discrimination, Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence Legislation. This Systemwide Policy requires CSU campuses to disseminate a notice of nondiscrimination on basis of gender or sex, designate a Title IX compliance coordinator, adopt appropriate complaint and investigation procedures, implement education/training/prevention programs to address sex discrimination (including harassment and sexual violence), and provide training to conduct investigations.
CSU Executive Order 1097 is the Systemwide Policy Prohibiting Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation Against Students and Systemwide Procedure for Handling Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation Complaints by Students. It is CSU policy that no Student shall, on the basis of any Protected Status, be unlawfully
excluded from participation in, or be denied the benefits of, any CSU program or activity.
Nor shall a Student be otherwise subjected to unlawful Discrimination, Harassment,
or Retaliation for exercising any rights under this executive order.If
If a CSU student has been a victim of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation, the student may initiate an informal resolution process and file a complaint.
