
Funded through the generosity of our donors, CSUSM established the Student Relief Fund in April to provide financial assistance to students during this extraordinary period of uncertainty. Any CSUSM student is eligible for consideration of these funds, including DACA students and undocumented students. Please submit an application through your MyCSUSM account to be considered for these funds. Students can also request $250 through ASI’s Student Emergency Fund.
ASI Student Emergency Funds are available to currently enrolled CSUSM students who encounter an unexpected catastrophic event or one-time emergency in which your basic needs and/or ability to function as a student are impacted. Qualifying examples include but are not limited to: Homelessness, Hunger, Accident, Natural disaster, Fire, Severe Illness, Etc…
Student Relief Grant Funds can be requested by students enrolled in the Spring 2020 Term based on new financial hardships related to COVID-19. Students who will be enrolled in the Fall 2020 will be considered through the usual Financial Aid processes.
ASI Student Emergency Fund applications will be reviewed by the Student Emergency Team during business hours and you will receive notice (via email) of team decision within 5-7 business days. Maximum award amount is $250, if approved.
Student Relief Fund applications will be reviewed by a committee and will be processed with a descision made within 5-7 business days.
