A little about me...
I moved to California at an early age and have lived throughout North County San Diego ever since. On the weekends, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family. We love exploring hiking trails with our 10-year-old dog, who has the energy of a puppy and the personality of a princess. In the evenings, you will find us yelping a new restaurant to try or honing our chef skills at home. As the day winds down, I always sneak in some reading time on my kindle, which always brings me calmness.

Advice for First-Year Students
Do not be afraid to ask for help. There are many resources at CSUSM such as academic, financial, and mental health assistance for students. Also, remember that you have already overcome many barriers to get into college. This shows that you have the strength to overcome anything that you set your mind to.
