Sustainability Student Assistant
Samuel “Sam” Solis recently joined the team and is the Sustainability Student Assistant. He is in charge of assisting the sustainability manager on campus and giving the students a students’ point of view on new programs that can be implemented within the campus. In a small amount of time, Sam has begun to develop green lab and green office certification program that will launch in the upcoming years, he has developed a sustainable campus tour, and is currently helping at the Sustainable Food Project Garden (located near the Children and Family Services Center). Sam has a huge passion for the environment and for sustainability. Currently, Sam is a junior and is pursuing a degree in sociology and environmental studies with a Spanish minor.
