Undergraduate Advising Services provides comprehensive academic advising to all admitted undergraduate students at California State University San Marcos.

Services We Provide:

Express Advising - beginning February 16, 2012!

• Weekly Advising for general information, quick questions, or urgent concerns/situations involving deadlines.
• The following majors will not be offering express advising: Business, Nursing and Integrated Credential Program (ICP).
• No appointment needed!

Drop-In Advising

• Advising for general information, schedule verification or issues, registration questions, etc.
• Meetings generally last up to 15 minutes.
• No appointment needed!

Scheduled Appointments

• In-depth advising, graduation checks, major/minor planning, general education information, probation, reinstatement, disqualification, etc.
• Scheduled Advising appointments must be made online here:

• For quick/general questions or inquiries about policies or requirements, ask the eAdvisor.

ARR Workshops

• Learn how to use the Academic Requirements Report to plan for future course registrations and monitor the progress of your degree.
