Brief description of role/job duties: I'm responsible for managing content on the Park's website and mobile app to ensure consistent marketing messages across LEGOLAND's digital channels. I also regularly report on web and e-commerce analytics and conduct SEO audits.
Favorite thing about your job: Getting to work for such a fun brand and seeing campaigns through from start to finish! Everyday we're marketing fun experiences, whether its through photo shoots, digital ads or mobile app messaging, I get to touch multiple areas of marketing. Plus we're onsite at LEGOLAND...not a bad office!
Favorite thing about the MKTG department from your CoBA memories: I liked that the professors knew us by name and the class sizes were small so you actually got to know your professor and classmates. Senior Experience was also a great experience, getting to take on a large project and work with different personality types/working styles...it prepares you for your professional career!
Favorite MKTG class: I have 2 - 1) Sports Marketing - I'm a big sports fan (Go Chargers!) so it was interesting to learn the inner workings of sponsorships and endorsements within the industry. 2) Consumer Behavior - I loved learning about the science behind how consumers respond to different marketing tactics and why. Learning about how the structure of a grocery store is strategically mapped out blew my mind!
