Facilities Development & Management (FDM) is a sub-division within the Finance & Administrative Services division at California State University San Marcos.
FDM is comprised of the following departments:
FDM Administration is a support unit dedicated to providing administrative, budgetary, and procurement services for Facilities Development & Management.
We maintain the computerized maintenance management software system (AssetWorks' AiM) utilized for work orders and preventive maintenance, and we provide staffing for the Work Control Center. We are here to receive and dispatch work requests and to assist the campus community with all types of maintenance, repair, and cleansing issues. We also perform financial, budgetary, and procurement functions for FDM. We plan and manage resources and are responsible for the acquisition of materials, equipment, supplies, and services. We develop and monitor memoranda of understanding, policies, and procedures. In addition, we provide a wide-range of operational and financial reports.
