Black Greek Lettered Organizations

There are currently 4 recognized Black Greek-Lettered Organizations on campus.

These organizations are operating under the Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) while our campus focuses on growth for both membership and organizations. One of the office priorities is to elevate Black Greek life on campus to form a National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), also known as the Divine Nine, which consists of 9 historically Black Greek-Lettered Organizations. Highlighted organizations are currently recognized on campus:

  • Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.*
  • Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
  • Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
  • Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
  • Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
  • Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
  • Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
  • Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
  • Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc.

*Chapter is a city-wide organization, which has members from the following instituions: CSUSM, SDSU, UCSD, and USD
