  • Registration & event check-in

    Each student should register to attend this event.  Students are welcome to bring guests.

    There will be 2 Check-in locations:

    Feel free to use the CSUSM Interactive Map to help you find your way!

    Check-in: 8:30am (the first 5000 students to check-in get SWAG, one per student only, while supplies last)
    Event starts: 9:00am
    Event ends: 2:00pm

    Missed the pre-registration deadline? No problem! Walk-ins are welcome, simply check-in at the event with your guests and you can quickly sign-up before you enjoy your day!

    Those that check-in at the event can be chosen to win CSUSM Swag. Winners will be chosen at random and CSUSM Swag will be different from the student check-in swag.

    Follow signs to closest available parking lot (Lot B, Lot C,  and Parking Structure 1)

    Complimentary parking in Lot B, Lot C, or Lot F   (enter campus from Twin Oaks Valley Road and Craven Road) and Parking Structure 1 (enter campus from E. Barham Drive and Campus Way)

  • Group registration & parking (schools & programs)

    School groups are welcome to attend this event. The main contact of the school group can complete the Group Registration Form for the group so that we can make necessary preparations. Students, Teacher, Counselor, and/or chaperones will need to be listed on the Group Registration Form. Once the Group Registration Form has been submitted, group check-in instructions will be sent to the main contact of the school group.

    Bus parking will be available in Lot N. 

    Please note, the event content is geared toward students who have applied and been admitted for the fall term.  Prospective students are welcome, but encouraged to attend our fall event for prospective students, Discover CSUSM, in October.

  • Accept your offer of admission!

    Ready to make it official? Submit your Intent to Enroll today to secure your spot in the fall 2023 incoming class. The deadline to submit your Intent to Enroll is May 15th, 2023.

    1. Log-in to your MyCSUSM account
    2. Select 'Student Center'
    3. Scroll to the bottom of the page to the 'Admissions' section and click the 'Accept/Decline' link and follow the next steps.
    4. Visit the Cashier's Desk in Cougar Central to submit your $150 Deposit.

  • Event Photo and Video Disclaimer

    CSUSM reserves the right to use any photograph/video/audio taken at Cougar Blue Day without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video/audio clip. Photographs/videos/audio clips may be used (but not limited to) in publications, brochures, postcards, posters, newspapers, social media, television, websites, etc., for the purposes of event promotion and/or portraying CSUSM as the University of choice.

    To ensure the privacy of individuals and children, images will not be identified using names or personal identifying information without written approval from the photographed subject, parent or legal guardian.

    A person attending/participating in/working Cougar Blue Day who does not wish to have their image captured for distribution should make their wishes known to the Cougar Blue Day Planning Committee in writing of his/her intentions and include a photograph of oneself to reference to: cougarbluedays@csusm.edu.  The Cougar Blue Day Planning Committee will use the photo for identification purposes and will hold it in confidence.

    By attending/participating in/working Cougar Blue Day or by failing to notify the Cougar Blue Day Planning Committee (cougarbluedays@csusm.edu) in writing, your desire to not have your photograph used, you are agreeing to release, defend, hold harmless and indemnify CSUSM from any and all claims involving the use of your picture or likeness.
