
Dr. Arnold came to Cal State San Marcos in 1990. He has been a member of the Economics Department since that time.
Dr. Arnold received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Birmingham in England and his Ph.D. (Economics) from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia.
Dr. Arnold's research areas are monetary theory and public choice theory. His main research-scholarly work currently focuses on writing economics textbooks.
