Guided by President Neufeldt’s unwavering commitment to student success and innovation, CSUSM is nurturing a culture of service and building socially-minded partnerships that advance the San Diego region. Together, we will fuel this transformation and tap the potential of our students and our region as we challenge ourselves to reach new possibilities.
President Ellen Neufeldt presents her 4th Report to Community, welcoming more than 300 regional leaders and guests to Cal State San Marcos.

OUR STRATEGIC PLAN
In 2021 we began working together to create a new institutional strategic plan – a plan that would not only reflect our values but lay out a way forward as we look to the next five to seven years. We are excited to share our newly launched strategic plan: The Power of CSUSM.
The Power of CSUSM not only renews our institutional commitment to our students and our region but expresses a cohesive framework of who we are today, and what we intend to be in the future. With your feedback, we have developed a new mission, a new vision and new values. We have also outlined goals and objectives that will help us achieve our aspirations. We invite you to browse the strategic plan website and explore the Power of CSUSM.

Everything in our new strategic plan stems from our simple yet profound mission: student success. This clear definition will guide every strategy and tactic as we move forward. The Power of CSUSM is a plan that belongs to all of us – thank you for the essential role you will play as we bring our new vision to fruition. I look forward to working with you – because it’s about the individual power of you, the collective power of us and the transformative power of CSUSM.
Ellen Neufeldt, President
