Small Steps Make a Difference
The Take the Stairs campaign was developed due to Covid-19, and was built on the basis of three main pillars.
Health and Wellness
Let’s minimize occupancy in the elevators during COVID-19. Utilizing the stairs can be a nice addition to anyone’s health and wellness journey and an opportunity to move between classes or meetings.
Ensuring Access
Decreasing elevator ridership ensures access for those that need it. We recognize that not everyone can or will want to take the stairs all the time.
Sustainability
Elevators use a decent amount of energy, and as we return to campus, one way we can all do our part is to reduce our energy usage by taking the stairs

Finding different routes around campus is part of the fun. Mix up your routine and take a different path and you may discover something new!
