
Since Fall 2022, our award-winning catering services have served over 2000 events. These events have ranged from convocation and Board of Trustees to staff luncheons and dinners.
Led by Chef Anna Webb-Fallon, Catering Services is ready to exceed the expectations of our faculty, staff, and students. Let our team invent a menu using seasonal fare and locally sourced products and celebrate the culture of our region. From bagels and coffee to an elegant dinner, you will find fresh ingredients, elegant presentations, and thoughtful service.
Catering is defined as:
- Having food prepared, served, and/or set-up on Campus
- Food trucks
Catering is not:
- Picking food up
- Having food delivered to perimeter of campus by Dominos, Tina's Deli, etc. or another restaurant on Uber Eats or DoorDash is ok.
- Not ok – having a caterer deliver food – Red Tail, Coast, etc.
Per CSUSM Food Service Policy, picking up food of any value and bringing it back to campus or having food delivered (i.e. Uber Eats or DoorDash) to campus and dropped off at perimeter of campus (i.e. public roads such as Chavez Circle).
If you recieve a first right of refusal, you are free to use the following.
- One of our Approved Off-Campus Caterers which includes Food Trucks
- Request a new caterer to be added to our list
- Safety, Health & Sustainability requires all Food Trucks have a One Day Food Permit
