Join us at Discover CSUSM, where eligible students may have the opportunity to receive a pre-admission decision at the event! This is a fantastic opportunity for incoming first-year students planning to apply for fall 2027.

Here’s How It Works

Incoming first-year students who submit a Cal State Apply application to CSUSM by October 16, 2026 by 11:59 p.m. PT may be eligible to receive a pre-admission certificate at Discover CSUSM.  If you miss the deadline, we still encourage you to attend Discover Day and submit your application as soon as possible to receive an early decision after Discover. 

Note: Nursing, international and transfer applicants have a different review process, and their admission decisions will be delivered at a later time.
