Years at CSUSM?
Years at CSUSM? I started working here (again) this past September. I worked for a brief six months in the Office of the VPFAS when I attended school then graduated in 2006. I have a BA in LTWR. Martha Stoddard Holmes was one of my professors.
What is your short term goal? To graduate with a second bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University (Online) in Graphics Information Technology in Spring 2017 and take a few math course here. Math is not my strong suit—I hope to conquer Statistics one day.
What is your long term goal? Chasing the sun and traveling abroad with my family. Traveling with a toddler is a hoot. I hope to climb Kilimanjaro one day.
What is your greatest accomplishment (personal or professional)? My greatest accomplishments are finishing a Century (100 mile) Bike Race (I almost gave up and withered away, but I crossed the finish line), competing in four sprinter Triathlons, running three back-to-back half marathons and being awarded a Triple Crown medal. My overall greatest accomplishment is my two-year-old son, Cayden, and hopefully passing on these healthy and active traditions to him.
What is favorite movie? The Labyrinth
What is your favorite food? It is a tie between chocolate and sushi.
What is your favorite book? Grimm’s Fairytales
What are your hobbies? Hiking and being outdoors. Swimming, biking, and running.
What is your favorite thing about working at CSUSM? I was able to return to my Alma Mater and work with fascinating people. Life is a trip.
What would you like to do when you retire? Work on my design, communications and photography business as I sit on a beach with my husband while enjoying a cold beverage.
