All costs do not include the non-refundable $100 Administrative Fee due upon submitting your application. Costs are inclusive of utilities and are individual to each student. Costs are not split between roommates. Rates are tentative and subject to change. 

Room Types & Floor Plans

What's the difference?

Your room type is the style of bedroom and how many roommates you would like; for example, a UVA triple holds three students.

Your floor plan shows the overall apartment and number of suitemates; for example, a UVA triple is in a floor plan with six students total in two UVA triple bedrooms. Some room types (particularly at the QUAD) may be included in multiple floor plans. Please note that floor plans vary, and we cannot guarantee your room will look exactly the same as it is pictured.

Fall 2026-Spring 2027 Rates 

Singles and Deluxe Singles

• UVA Single | 2026-2027 Annual Rate: $14,176

  This room type varies between three-bedroom apartment styles. There is one person in the bedroom (private room), and there can be anywhere between six and seven people in the apartment.

  

  Each person in this room type will receive:

  • Twin XL (extra long) bed
  • Desk and desk chair
  • Two chests of drawers
  • Full closet

  Average Size is 99 sq ft.

• QUAD Single | 2026-2027 Annual Rate: $15,960

  This room type varies between two to four bedroom apartments. There is one person in the bedroom (private room), and there can be anywhere between three and seven people in the apartment.

  

  Each person in this room type will receive:

  • Full-size bed
  • Desk and desk chair
  • Wardrobe

  Average Size is 103 sq ft.

• QUAD Deluxe Single | 2026-2027 Annual Rate: $18,888

  This room type is in a two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment. There is one person in the bedroom (private room) and a total of two people in the apartment.

  

  Each person in this room type will receive:

  • Full-size bed
  • Desk and desk chair
  • Wardrobe

  Average Size is 104 sq ft.

Doubles and Deluxe Doubles

• UVA Double | 2026-2027 Annual Rate: $11,440
  This room type varies between three to four bedroom apartments. There are a total of two people in the bedroom and there can be anywhere between six and seven people in the apartment.

  

  Each person in this room type will receive:

  • LOFTED twin XL (extra long) bed
  • Desk and desk chair
  • Two chests of drawers
  • Half closet

  Average Size is 99 sq ft.

• QUAD Double | 2026-2027 Annual Rate: $12,248

  This room type is in a four-bedroom, four-bathroom apartment. There are two people in the bedroom and a total of eight people in the apartment.

  

  Each person in this room type will receive:

  • Twin XL (extra long) bed
  • Desk and desk chair
  • Closet

  Average Size is 158 sq ft.

• North Commons Double | 2026-2027 Annual Rate: $11,344

  This room type is a suite-style bedroom for two people. 

  

  

  Each person in this room type will receive:

  Average Size is 290 sq ft.

• UVA Deluxe Double | 2026-2027 Annual Rate: $12,440

  This room type varies between two to three bedroom apartments. There are a total of two people in the bedroom, and there can be anywhere between four and five people in the apartment.

  • Desk and desk chair
  • One chest of drawers
  • Half closet

• QUAD Deluxe Double | 2026-2027 Annual Rate: $13,584

• North Commons Deluxe Double | 2026-2027 Annual Rate: $12,456

  This room type is a top-floor suite-style bedroom for two people. Spacious room with floor-to-ceiling windows provides panoramic views of campus.

• Black Oak Hall Double | 2026-2027 Annual Rate: $10,872

  This room type is a suite-style bedroom for two people.

Triples and Deluxe Triples

• UVA Triple 2026-2027 Annual Rate: $10,600

  This room type is in a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment. There are three beds in each bedroom for a total of six people in the apartment.

  

  Each person in this room type will receive:

  • one chest of drawers
  • half closet

  Average Size is 174 sq ft.

• QUAD Triple | 2026-2027 Annual Rate: $11,048

  This room type is in a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment. There are three people in the bedroom and a total of five people in the apartment.

  

  Each person in this room type will receive:

  • twin XL (extra long) bed
  • desk and desk chair
  • closet (there will be one extra closet to be shared between all three residents)
  • *** Photo shows four desks, but three are provided
  • *** There is one set of bunk beds and one standalone bed.

• North Commons Deluxe Triple | 2026-2027 Annual Rate: $10,528

  This room type is a three-person shared suite.

Quadruples

• QUAD Quadruple | 2026-2027 Annual Rate: $10,496
  This room type is in a three bedroom two and a half bathroom apartment. There are four people in the bedroom and a total of seven people in the apartment.

  

  Each person in this room type will receive:

  • desk and desk chair
  • closet
  • *** There are two sets of bunk beds.

Meal Plans

Residents of North Commons and Black Oak Hall must choose 1 of 3 Mandatory meal plans. Residents of UVA, QUAD, as well as commuter students, will have a choice of 6 voluntary plans.
