Water Resources and Policy Initiatives (WRPI) Internship

The Water Resources and Policy Initiatives (WRPI) is pleased to announce the call for CSU student interns for the 2014-2015 Watershed Management Experiential Learning for USDA Careers Program. This Program is now open to all 23 CSU campuses! These are compensated, temporary positions for student interns and the selection process is competitive.

2014-15 California Sea Grant State Fellowship

The California Sea Grant College Program is soliciting applications for the 2015 California State Fellows Program. The State Fellows Program provides a unique educational opportunity for graduate students who are interested both in marine resources and in the policy decisions affecting those resources in California. Modeled after the highly successful Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship Program, the State Fellows Program provides an opportunity to acquire "on the job" experience in the planning and implementation of marine and/or coastal resource policies and programs in the state of California. The program matches highly motivated and qualified graduate students and recent graduates with "hosts" in State or Federal agencies in California for a 12-month paid fellowship ($3,500 per month).

Scholarships for Veterans & Active Duty Personnel

CSUSM Noyce Teacher Scholars Scholarship

There's a critical need for qualified math and science teachers.  If you are interested in a career working in public education, the CSUSM Noyce Teacher Scholars program offers you a $12,000 scholarship for the academic year as a forgivable loan.  Students may accept the award for one, two, or three years with a two-year commitment as a mathematics or science teacher in a high need school district.  Please email noyce@csusm.edu for more information.
