Maker Education Training

These train-the-teacher sessions will prepare you to teach maker lessons in your own classroom.

This program is taught by CSUSM Physics faculty in a designated Maker Lab, and will will help you to:
  • Understand the core philosophies of making, tinkering and other design-based activities
  • Create a plan for incorporating making and/or tinkering activities into educational practices
  • Better understand how to facilitate making activities
  • Articulate how making aligns with existing learning goals
  • Develop a making-related activity or develop a plan for helping colleagues integrate making into their teaching
  • Learn how to advocate for the integration of making in your program or school site


CEU's: Each course is worth one CEU* and is included in program cost
Price: $299 per session

Scholarships are available and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Email for more information.
