Employees can sign up for most training courses through the Employee Training Center (ETC). ETC is the campus learning management system that provide employees with access to register and complete both instructor led and online workshops. Through the ETC, employees are able to view their current progress in an online course, see new courses assigned to them, and track their history.

The training is provided and tracked through the Employee Training Center (ETC). Employees that are required to complete compliance training will be notified by Human Resources.
CSU’s Employee Fee Waiver Program is a benefit for eligible CSU faculty and staff or their spouses, domestic partners, or dependents, which allows them to enroll in CSU general-fund courses at reduced rates.
Leadership Academy is a three track leadership development program designed for emerging leaders, new leaders, and experiences leaders. Participants are selected by Executive Council.
Skillsoft is a free online training resource for CSU employees.
The University’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers orientation workshops for to promote awareness of their programs and services. Employees may also access the EAP website to receive almost unlimited educational information on topics related to their Family, Health, Money, and Time. The EAP also offers free monthly webinars on timely topics such as budgeting, relaxation, care-giving, etc.
Individual campus departments and organizations also offer training on a periodic basis.
For example, the Partners in Campus Business Operations group (PCBO) provides training and presentations on business operations to employees who coordinate department administrative processes.
Extended Learning offers a wide range of professional, career development, and personal enrichment programs as well as certificate programs.
Instructional & Information Technology Services (IITS) provides workshops and self-help resources for faculty and staff.
Safety, Risk and Sustainability provides initial and ongoing training for the campus community (Auxiliaries, Employees, Students, and Volunteers) related to Risk Management, Sustainability, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety.
