CTS can assist in supporting special events, providing:

• Voice amplification for public speaking;
• Background music;
• Video or data projection;
• Audio support for more complex performances by musical groups.

While we mostly support on-campus events, we can sometimes support events off-campus when needed. We are not equipped to support very large or complex events, but we can assist by steering you to reputable outside vendors.

Charges

CTS charges for all labor associated with event support at a rate of $46.22/person-hour. Campus organizations are not charged rental fees for equipment usage, but off-campus organizations will be. Billing is generally handled through the department handling the event locations, University Event Scheduling or the Field House.
