Welcome!

CSUSM encourages faculty and staff across the University to seek external funding to conduct research; enrich teaching or further professional development; advance knowledge and make scholarly contributions; develop programs to meet the needs of students; and obtain resources for the University or the community.

The Grants and Contracts Development Team provides support services for developing and submitting proposals to external sponsors. Grants and Contracts can be your first stop in the pursuit of grant opportunities. 

The Grants and Contracts Development Team also provides post-award administrative support for funded PI/PDs with projects that meet certain criteria.

Once an award is made, the CSUSM Corporation Office of Sponsored Projects facilitates the administration of sponsored programs.
