Witch Craft Bash

By Jasmine Demers, Tukwut Life Marketing Assistant

It’s that time again, Cougars! Halloween is almost here and we have a Friday night that is filled with your choice of fun, holiday-themed activities and scary, spine tingling thrills!

This Friday, Oct. 23, we will have not one but TWO Signature Tukwut Life events that you can enjoy! The first is the Witch-Craft Bash at 6 p.m. on the USU Rooftop. During this event you will have a chance to decorate pumpkins and cookies, enjoy free food and drinks and take pictures with your friends at the Halloween-themed photo booth!

“I think students should come to this event to enjoy an evening with their friends while also making treats and pumpkins to get into the halloween spirit!” Melissa Aparicio, Tukwut Life team member. “The Witch-Craft Bash is also a good option for students who like Halloween but don’t necessarily enjoy the scary aspect of the holiday.”

Haunted Trail

The next event that we have for you this Friday night is the Haunted Trail at Balboa Park! Students that are signed up for this excursion will say “bon voyage” to their friends at the Witch-Craft Bash and head over to Cesar Chavez Circle at 7 p.m. From there, participants will take a bus to Balboa Park in San Diego for a terrifying mile-long journey through the park that you will never forget.

Don’t forget to watch your back as you travel through the gnarled oaks because there is no limit to the creatures that are lurking within the trees. You will encounter vampires, clowns, ghouls, aliens and even chainsaw wielding voodoo masters. Be prepared, Cougars—there is no escaping the terror!

So bring your friends and join us this Friday night! Whether you decide to attend just one event or both, you are sure to have a great time!
