Reuse Program

  1. We collect extra office supplies (paper, 3-ring binders) and unwanted small office accessories (organizers).
  2. These items are offered to the campus community.
  3. If there is no use for these items, they are donated to charity.
  4. If the item is broken we recycle it, disassemble it for recyclable parts.
  5. Our last option is to throw it away.

We currently collect pre-consumer waster from the USU kitchen and coffee shops for campus composting. Items include: coffee grounds, fruit and vegetable cores and peels. The final compost material is used in campus garden areas.

We anticipate the service for a full composting program to be avaliable in 2019.
