Temporary Lecturer Application Pool - Music

The Music Department at California State University San Marcos is accepting applications for qualified instructors in the following areas: Choral Accompanist (piano), Applied Orchestral Strings, Applied Brass, and Applied Woodwinds.  Candidates must have an established record of professional accomplishments in teaching and performance.  Instructional duties will include weekly-applied studio lessons for undergraduate music majors and preparing students for performance recitals.  Salary is commensurate with credentials and experience.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Master's degree or terminal degree in Music
  • Significant college-level teaching experience
  • Documentation of performance in area of expertise
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusion and/or intercultural competence
  • Maintenance of an active performing career
