Established in 2011, the Student Philanthropy Council (SPC) is a committee of students dedicated to growing the culture of giving on campus and raising money for the Student Philanthropy Fund. Gifts to the "Student Philanthropy Fund Endowed Scholarship" support students in their CSUSM journey. Gifts may also go to the donor's specific designation choice.

CSUSM Giving Day 2020 on Tuesday, December 1 was a huge success as CSUSM raised $284,070 in just a 24-hour period, mainly utilizing social media. Students stepped up to the plate in a big way! In fact, 409 student gifts were received, supporting areas such as Educational Opportunity Program, ASI Cougar Pantry, DREAMer Resource Office, Men's Cross Country/Track & Field Scholarships, and Men's Soccer Scholarships.
We suggest a gift of $20.22 in honor of the Class of 2022. Some give more, some give less, but it's your choice. EVERY gift, no matter the size, makes an impact. Select "Student Philanthropy Fund" in the drop down menu.
CSUSM thanks all donors who have given to the Student Philanthropy Fund, formerly known as the Senior Class Gift Campaign.
