Prevention & Training

Required Training

  • Incoming students: orientation includes hazing awareness, prevention, and reporting.
  • Athletics & Greek life: annual training (awareness, bystander, ethical leadership, group cohesion without hazing, consequences, reporting).
  • RSO officers: annual training and verification to VPSA/designee.

National Hazing Prevention Week (NHPW)

NHPW is the last full week of September. CSUSM will host campus-wide events and bystander skill‑building.
