As of the start of Fall 2013, an “IB Language A Literature HL” or “IB Language A Language
and Literature HL” score of 4 meets LOTER, meets C3, and gives 6 units.
Note: An “IB Language B” score of 4 does not meet LOTER, but still gives 6 units.
[For IBs taken prior to Fall 2013, please contact the LOTER Advisor.]
Sending Scores If the score was part of your admissions packet to CSUSM (via an official score sent
by IB directly or a score showing on another CSU transcript), then Admissions noted
in your student record that you fulfilled the requirement. If you sent the score within
the last month, please wait for it to be processed. If you sent the score more than
30 days prior, you might like to complete the ARR Correction Form.
If CSUSM does not have your score, have IB send an official copy to the Office of
Admissions and Recruitment or hand-carry in a sealed, official copy. To request a
score, go to the International Baccalaureate website . Scores cost $11 or are free if requested within the exam grace period.
