Discover and Explore Pacific Marine Mammal Center
Event Overview
Join us as we take a quick road trip northbound to Laguna Beach where we'll enjoy the views on a hike followed by a visit to the Pacfic Marine Mammal Center! Explore and learn about marine mammals and how human impact on the environment affects them, their ocean home and, ultimately, human beings. Be empowered through ocean stewardship actions that you can encorporate in your life.

Once you are registered for this trip, you will recieve an email approximately one week before the trip depatrure date with more information including meet up times, trip itinerary, what to bring, etc. If you have any questions or concerns before recieving this email, please email our team at outdooradventures@csusm.edu for support.

Our goal is to provide students with afforadable opportunities to experience the outdoors in a variety of ways. We sudsidize trip costs by 30%-55%. See above for cost-savings; some of these categories are estimated if we do not have actual cost (ex: gas cost).

All University programs require student participants to follow standards of the CSUSM Student Code of Conduct in order to ensure a safe, respectful learning environment. As the Policy states, “The University is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy living and learning environment for students, faculty, and staff. Each member of the campus community should choose behaviors that contribute toward this end. Students are expected to be good citizens and to engage in responsible behaviors that reflect well upon their university, to be civil to one another and to others in the campus community, and contribute positively to student and university life.”
Failure to abide by these standards could result in becoming ineligible to participate in Outdoor Adventure programs indefinitely and a referral to the Dean of Students Office.
