In our effort to provide the safest and healthiest learning and working environment possible, California State University San Marcos will become a smoke- and tobacco-free campus effective August 28th, 2017.
We will continue to keep the campus community informed of the initiative through public education and an awareness campaign.
CSUSM actively promotes and provides smoking cessation assistance to students, faculty, and staff, as well as to their benefit-eligible spouses and domestic partners. Many services are provided at no cost or a reduced cost. Students should contact Student Health and Counseling Services and interested employees should contact the Employee Assistance Program for more information regarding these services.
We care about the health and wellness of our campus community, and we appreciate your
continued support as we implement these improvements.
