Vision: The CSUSM STEM Tutoring Program is a rich, stimulating, diverse learning community where exchange of ideas takes place. We continuously seek and adopt the most effective ways to support student success in STEM. We create opportunities for students to build confidence, and we empower them to become independent lifelong learners. We encourage transferrable thinking and skill sets among STEM, other disciplines, and the real world.
Mission Statement: The STEM Tutoring Program is a key component of the Centers for Learning and Academic Success Services (CLASS) under the Office for Undergraduate Studies. We strive to increase the number of students receiving degrees in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields. The center supports all students by providing an open and welcoming environment with study space, peer tutors, and informative workshops. Our goal is to guide students to develop the skills and self-confidence they need to succeed in science and math.
STEM Tutoring is affiliated with the activities of the STEM Center.
