Campus Partners & Stakeholders

Student using a computer in a shopAs a new office within the department of Enrollment Management Services, the Office of Success Coaching has many internal partners and stakeholders. All our campus partners understand and value success coaching for all first-year college students. The Office of Success Coaching depends heavily on the cooperation and collaboration of our campus partners. Our team stands ready to assist academic departments, colleges, resource centers, and other campus partners in promoting and facilitating all your departments’ resources, programs, and services. As a campus collaborator the Office of Success Coaching has designated Lead Success Coaches to the following roles:

Communication Lead:

Communications: Send monthly communication update emails that reference what communications the coaching team is sending out to students. This will vary depending on the time of the semester but some examples include registration reminders, financial aid FAFSA deadline, involvement fair, career fairs, etc. The goal is to give an overview/snapshot of what communications have sent to our caseloads each month.

Trend Lead:

Trends/Updates: Send monthly trends (that are relevant) to the college point of contact. Trends also vary depending on the time of the year, but some examples include students being unsure of how to make advising appointments, early alert grades, and confusion surrounding how to sign-up for housing. Also included, is how we as a team are working to manage those trends (i.e.-sent students instructions on how to make a degree works plan or contacted housing about sign ups, etc.)

Partnership Lead

Meetings: Attend staff meetings, if applicable. Some colleges may invite us to staff meetings to get information and insight into what’s happening in that college. Thought partnering on student issues/concerns that come up in meetings and appropriate referrals support resources.

The overall goal is to support the students effectively, the Office of Success Coaching and reduce educational inequities and disparities, especially with underserved students.
