Before adding a video to your page, videos legally must:
Include accurate captions with punctuation: Fill out the Captioning Request Form if captions are not already implemented. There is no cost to your department for
having your video captioned.
Have a title: For iframes, add a title attribute and element content.
Adding a Video to Your Page
Navigate to the page that is intended to host the Youtube video.
Select to begin editing content area.
Click to the area on your page that you would like to add a Youtube video.
In the toolbar, click the (second row, near the right) -OR- the on the top-right of your page to open the side bar. Click the Snippets header to expand.
Select Youtube from the Snippets menu.
The snippet will be added to your page. It will look like a table:
Fill in the table provided with the URL of the Youtube video and the Title of the video.
IMPORTANT: This URL must be formatted like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=####### There cannot be any & characters in your Youtube URL. If you have a "&feature=" portion of your URL you will need to remove it.
Click in the toolbar to save your changes.
Once saved, the Youtube video snippet will transform from a table into an interactable
