Our beautiful 304-acre campus is located 35 miles north of downtown San Diego in San Marcos - only minutes away from art, entertainment, sports, good eats, and rich history and culture, not to mention the mountains and some amazing beaches.
Fall 2012: The priority application deadline for domestic first time freshman and transfer admission was November 30, 2011. The first time freshman and transfer domestic non-resident application deadline was April 2, 2012.
International student applications may be submitted until May 1, 2012. Apply at CSU Mentor.
Students admitted to Fall 2012 as first time freshman are required to confirm their admission to CSUSM by submitting the online Intent to Enroll and $150 Enrollment Deposit by May 1, 2012. Deadline for Transfers is June 1, 2012. These deadlines will be strictly enforced.
Spring 2013: CSU San Marcos will be closed to domestic applications for admission (exceptions are veteran and active duty military applicants).
