LVN to BSN Program
Our LVN to BSN program is designed for students who meet the program's minimum eligibility requirements and who have a valid California LVN license and want to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Effective with entry to this program in Fall 2012, students who have already completed a Bachelor's Degree in another discipline may also apply for entry to this nursing program.
We admit up to four LVN to BSN students each fall. These students actually join a cohort of Generic/Basic Students, admitted in the same term. Therefore, the School of Nursing has recently changed our entrance requirements for our LVN to BSN program to be more consistent with the entrance requirements of our Generic/Basic students. These new entrance requirements go into effect for those students admitted for a Fall 2011 or later start in the program.
The next opportunity to apply for admission to this program will be Oct. 1 Nov. 30, 2011 for a Fall 2012 admit. The Fall 2012 application and application instructions will be posted on our Nursing Web site under the Fall 2012 Applications link. Please visit the links, below, to learn about the program eligibility changes prior to actually completing the online application.
