Privacy and Social Media

This focuses on the issues around the privacy of personal information on the internet. There is a discussion of how data is collected and how it is used. Examples from social media of micro-targeting for commercial and political purposes are discussed. This topic could be relevant in a variety of majors from communications to marketing to political science, computer science and sociology.
