Our 20th Year Marching in the San Diego Pride Parade!

RSVP to march with the Pride Center and shine bright together in the 2026 San Diego Pride Parade! RSVP deadline was Wednesday, June 29, 2026. Individuals may still RSVP after the deadline, but we cannot guarantee the preferred t-shirt size.

• Contingent Number 101 (Staging Location, located near the intersection of Park Blvd & Lincoln Ave in Hillcrest)

Bus Transportation To/From The Parade!

For the first year ever, we are happy to offer transportation from CSUSM to the Pride Parade. Thank you to the Pride Faculty & Staff Association for working to organize, fund, and facilitate transportation! The Pride Faculty Staff Association, in partnership with the Pride Center, are providing a San Marcos Unified School District bus to transport the CSUSM community to the parade and back after the parade concludes.

Bus transportation will be privided on a first come, first serve basis as RSVP forms are turned in. If you would like to access bus transportation, please have the following information ready at the time of completing the RSVP form:

1. Please download and print/fill this form to be submitted in the transportation sign-up: CSU Release of Liability (English - PDF) / CSU Release of Liability (Spanish PDF)
   • Activity Name/Description: "Pride Parade & Bus"
   • Activity Date/Time: "July 18, 2026, all day"
   • Activity Location: "Hillcrest/Balboa Park"

Ground transportation confirmations will be distributed the week of July 13. Please be aware, the bus will depart the CSUSM Campus Way Circle (adjacent to the University Student Union) promptly at 8:15am. The bus will also depart Hillcrest at approximately 2:00pm. The return trip time will be provided to all riders the week of July 13. 

Looking for More Information?

A Virtual Information Session was held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026. The session was recorded and distributed to all individuals who RSVP'd by July 8, 2026. If you RSVP'd after July 8 and would like to be emailed the recording, please email pride@csusm.edu to request the video.

We Need Your Assistance!

Contingent Supplies | We ask all contingent members to collect their contingent supplies (e.g. Parade T-Shirt & Sunglasses) in the University Student Union Suite 2100, during the following times:

• • Tuesday, July 14 between 10:00am-4:00pm
  • Wednesday, July 15 between 10:00am-4:00pm
  • Thursday, July 16 between 10:00am-4:00pm
  • Friday, July 17 between 10:00am-1:00pm

Parade Giveaway Prep | If available, we ask for your support in labeling and bundling our giveaways (over 5500 flags) in the University Student Union Activity Center (4th Floor), during the following times:

• • Monday, July 13 between 10:30am-4:00pm
  • Tuesday, July 14 between 10:00am-4:00pm
  • Wednesday, July 15 between 10:00am-4:00pm
  • Thursday, July 16 between 10:00am-4:00pm (if needed)
