Foundation Board Group

The CSUSM Finance & Investment Committee’s first priority is the prudent management of the CSUSM Foundation endowment so that it may continue to provide perpetual annual support for student financial aid, faculty teaching and research, facility improvements and academic programs. The Foundation continues to assess the ongoing impacts, threats and opportunities created during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are committed to maintaining a diversified and resilient investment portfolio built to withstand severe market instability, while also implementing forward-thinking endowment management strategies throughout and beyond this period of market volatility.

The CSUSM Foundation contracts with California State University San Marcos for facilities and services to be performed by state employees for the benefit of Auxiliary.  Operating expenses, personnel time and indirect costs, which include use of the University server and electronic mail system, are reimbursed to the CSU in accord with CCR tit. 5, §42502 and ICSUAM 3552.01.
