Commencement information sessions
Because CSUSM does not hold a traditional commencement rehearsal, the Commencement Office will host two live information sessions during GradFest to help graduates prepare for commencement day.
These sessions provide an overview of everything you need to know before arriving at the ceremony, including:
- Commencement day timeline
- Graduate check-in
- StagePass
- Guest tickets
- Parking and arrival
- Graduate processional
- Ceremony expectations
- Frequently asked questions
- Important reminders
Session times
- 11 a.m.
- 3:30 p.m.
Seating is limited. We encourage attendees to arrive early.
Following each session, Commencement Office staff will remain available to answer individual questions.
Family members and guests are welcome to attend the information sessions and are encouraged to join you to learn what to expect on commencement day.
