Greg Hunter

Greg Hunter is Chief Executive Officer of Hunter Industries, the irrigation manufacturing company founded in San Marcos in 1982. A mechanical engineering graduate of Cornell University, Greg has spent his career helping advance innovative irrigation and outdoor solutions while continuing his family's legacy of leadership at Hunter Industries.

 

In addition to his professional leadership, Greg has a strong commitment to community service. He served for more than ten years on the Board of Managers of the Jackie Robinson Family YMCA in San Diego, including four years as Chairman. Greg also served as President of the Irrigation Association in 2017.

 

As a member of the California State University San Marcos Foundation Board, Greg is honored to support the university's mission of expanding educational opportunity, fostering student success, and strengthening the North San Diego County community. Outside of work, Greg enjoys challenging himself academically and has been taking advanced mathematics courses at California State University San Marcos as a lifelong learner.
