Instructionally Related Activities (IRA)

Instructionally Related Activities, per CSU Educational Code 89230, are defined as “those activities and laboratory experiences which are at least partially sponsored by an academic discipline or department and which are, in the judgment of the president…integrally related to its formal instructional offerings.”

The Instructionally Related Activities Fee was established to provide support for essential educational experiences and activities that aid and supplement the fundamental educational mission of the institution.  These guidelines should be kept in mind when preparing the Request for Funds.

1. IRA Guidelines and Proposal Request Form with Itemized Budget

IRA Proposal Request Forms are due to Rosa Mora via email to rmora@csusm.edu end of day on April 5, 2024.  Late Proposals will not be considered

FY 2023-2024 recipients that intend to submit a continuation of their proposal must submit a final or preliminary summative report with project highlights, evaluation of outcomes, and a detailed account of actual & projected expenditures by April 5, 2024.
