As your Vice President for Student Affairs, I formally welcome you to California State
University San Marcos and the Cougar Family. I am thrilled about the unique experiences
you will have at CSUSM and the extraordinary impact each of you will have on this
great institution.
At Cal State San Marcos, we understand that the student experience stretches far beyond
the classroom. Students are the heartbeat of the Division of Student Affairs. We are
genuinely committed to transforming lives, one student at a time. Our professional
staff is committed to offering intentional learning and development opportunities
that stimulate self-discovery and personal growth in the areas of 1) Civic Engagement
