Past Student & Family Reception

Student and Family Welcome Reception - A celebratory reception recognizing Alliance students from our partnership school districts who are entering CSUSM in the Fall as freshmen. Students and families are welcomed by the Vice President of Community Engagement, the Director of The Alliance, and School District Partner Superintendents; and a possible guest appearance from CSUSM's mascot - CRASH.

The 2nd Annual Welcome Reception held on June 27, 2017, from 4pm to 6pm at the University Student Union Ballroom, entering freshman students participated in a scavenger hunt to gather information to help navigate their freshman year.  CSUSM Mascot "CRASH" made a special appearance!
