The Career Center
The Career Center at CSUSM offers students, veterans, active-duty students, and alumni a variety of services to help them throughout their educational journey. These services include the Cougar Career Closet, Handshake, and free professional headshots to students.Academic Success Center
The Academic Success Center (ASC) offers free tutoring to all CSUSM students, no appointment is needed. ASC has tutoring for the following subjects: Economy, Finance, History, Psychology, and Spanish.
STEM Success Center
The STEM Success Center offers tutoring in the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Sociology. You can come in with a quick question or come hang out while you study
Writing Center
The writing center offers several different services to aid with any writer block. Their focus is on supporting students to meet the demands of college writing, professional writing, and other forms of written communication.
Kellogg Library
The Kellogg Library can be a used by students during its regular hours of operation. The library is equipped with computer labs and study rooms, all for students to use. The second floor of the library is also home to IITS.
OTRES
The Office for Training, Research and Education in the Sciences (OTRES) provides a supportive multicultural environment for student and faculty career development in the biomedical sciences and related disciplines.
TRIO
TRIO Student Support Services students may utilize The Center, a multi-purpose computer lab, study area, and community building space. Limited amounts of free printing and copies are available at The Center.

Academic Advisors at CSUSM provide academic advising to all admitted undergraduate students. They are here to help you achieve your academic goals and support you on your journey towards earning a degree.
