Readiness and Success Services

Readiness and Success Services promotes the idea that students learn most effectively and progress through college curriculum more successfully by supplementing their classroom learning with the encouragement and support of staff and peer tutors that are well versed in the subject matter and sympathetic to the demands of college life.

The staff of Readiness and Success Services are carefully selected and trained to assist a diversified student population : Proficiency Services consists of the Early Assessment Program (EAP) for high school students and provides services geared toward helping current CSUSM students meet proficiency requirements ; and Personalized Academic Success Services (PASS) works with students to assess each student's situation holistically and provide appropriate support and resources (on-campus or in the community) to help students achieve academic and personal success.
