 We are now accepting This I Believe essays from current and former GEL students. Selected essays will be showcased for campus and community celebration!

Have questions about your writing? Want to talk to someone about an assignment? Want assistance brainstorming, planning, drafting or revising your work? Please make an appointment by using our online system, calling our front desk, or visiting us in KEL 1103. We look forward to working with you!

If you currently have an appointment and cannot make the session, please cancel through the online system or call our front desk at (760) 750-4168.

Our Services

  • 30-minute one-on-one tutoring sessions, available by walk-in or by appointment
  • Bring-a-buddy sessions (60 mins: you, a friend, and a tutor)
    • For GEW students, limited to 2 people and must be an hour long.
    • When reserving an buddy session, you must manually select an hour
  • drop-in tutoring (middle and end of semester)
  • online tutoring services
  • scheduled workshops (also by request)
  • classroom presentations about the Writing Center

Friday: 9 am - 2 pm

*The Writing Center will close early at 12pm on Sept. 28th.
