'Part Time Job Offer' Scam

Many students are reporting that they’ve received email such as “CSUSM PART TIME JOB OFFER” shown below. These messages vary – they claim to be coming from different companies, and have different content. The common theme is that you can work PART TIME!, FROM HOME! and so on. They sometimes claim to be associated with the campus. Please be aware that CSUSM does not share or sell your data to third parties, and messages claiming otherwise are sure to be a scam attempt.

Please – do not answer these messages. Many students have lost thousands of dollars by engaging with these criminals.
