myCSUSMOn Tuesday, November 4, all California registered voters will get to vote in the Statewide Special Election. This election gives voters the chance to approve statewide redistricting in advance of the June 2026 Primary Election and November 2026 Midterm Election. Want to know more? Confirm your poll location using the California State Secretary Poll Location tool. You can also vote on campus by dropping off your ballot at the ballot drop box in the car drop off zone in front of the Kellogg Library or stopping by the Vote Center at McMahan House Saturday, October 25 through Tuesday, November 4.
All California registered voters will be mailed a ballot for the statewide special election starting October 6. October 20 is the last day to register to vote online.

November 2025 Statewide Special Election Dates
2025 Special Election
- Monday, October 6: Ballots mailed to registered voters.
- Tuesday, October 7: Ballot drop box locations open (including on campus in Chavez Circle - the car drop off zone in front of the USU).
- Monday, October 20: Last day to register to vote online or by mail ahead of the Special Election.
- Sunday October 25: Vote Centers (including on campus at McMahan House) open for early in-person voting in all Voter’s Choice Act counties (includes San Diego County).
- Tuesday, November 4: General Election - polls shall be open throughout the state from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00
p.m.
- Vote-by-mail ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received by November 12, 2025.
