Isidro "Sid" Alvarez, our in-house Lead Groundsworker, puts his nine years of turf experience to work here at CSUSM. Sid serves as a liaison with our landscape contractor. Assisting Sid is Ricardo Jacobo, CSUSM's Irrigation Specialist. Ricardo is helping us conserve water by finding and fixing leaks, and reducing irrigation usage. Also part of the Landscaping dream team is Groundsworker, Hector Gomez. Hector keeps our campus beautiful by maintaining many landscape areas on campus. The team also makes sure all green waste is recycled.
