Code of Conduct

The Higher Education Opportunity Act of August 14, 2008 includes provisions requiring institutions participating in the federal Title IV student aid programs to publish and ascribe to a Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct outlines prohibited practices related to the administration of federal student loan programs. The intent of the Code of Conduct is to ensure that institutions administer federal student loan programs in a fair and equitable manner and to prohibit any conflict of interest. As a participant in the federal Title IV student loan programs, CSU San Marcos has adopted the California State University Code of Conduct.

Any questions related to the California State University Code of Conduct should be directed to the Financial Aid and Scholarships office at finaid@csusm.edu
