The Lost and Found program on campus receives items that are lost and attempts to return the items to their true owners.
The Lost and Found office is located inside the California State University San Marcos, University Police Building at 425 La Moree Road, San Marcos, California 92078.
The Lost and Found office can be reached by phone at 760-750-7530 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
If you have found an item, please bring it in to the Lost and Found office so the
item can be logged into the Lost and Found data base and stored per University policy.
Items found after hours are accepted by contacting Police Dispatch at 760-750-4567.
If you lost an item, please fill out the Lost and Found Form:
Your submission will be reviewed. If your item can be identified within the Lost and Found inventory, you will be contacted via the email address or phone number you provided.
Make sure to bring proper identification in order to claim your property.
Example: Driver’s License, Passport, etc.
Note: Lost and Found DOES NOT accept water bottles or perishable items.
